FRONT AND REAR BRAKES 15-13
MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION
• Inspect the cylinder borę and piston lor scuffing.
♦ Inspect the piston rod and spring fordamage.

Flush the master cylinder ports with pressurized ąirV ; \
Wash the master cylinder borę and piston With fresh brake fluid. ,.,x
NOTĘ:

Do not use gasoline or; otherćleanińg solyents to wash the master cylinder parts.

FRONT MASTER CYLINDER REASSEMBLY
Reassemble and remount the master cylinder in the reverse order of removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Temporary tighten the master cylinder mounting bolts.
NOTĘ:
When remounting the master cylinder onto the handlebar, align the master cylinder ho!der’$ mating surface @ with the punch mark ® on the handlebar and tighten the upper bolt first.
