JOURNEY
Tony Lenzini (USA) travelled three months on his snowmobile to get to the Guinness Book of Records. He set out on December 20,1985 and parked his snowmobile on March 20, 1986 covering the distance of 11,604.6 km (7,211 miles). While experiencing the joumey he became a specialist in snowmobile engine maintenance and also famous snowmobile rider in the northern States of the USA.
LONGEST JOURNEY ON A GUĄDBIKE (ATV)
The longest journey on a quad-bike (ATV) was taken by Gerry Mayrfrom Konstanz, Germany. He has continuously driven his peculiar vihicle from December 26,2004 to January 30,2005 to celebrate the New Year. He has driven to Paris in France and back. He has covered the distance of 13,519km (8,400 miles) because he could not use the motorways justthe local routes as his quadbike is registered as a tractor in Germany.
LONGEST DRMEN JOURNEY
Emil and Liliana Schmid have been driving their Rangę Rover sińce October 16,1984 making their journey the longest driven journey ever. They have cove-red a distance of 587,000 km (364,745 miles) visiting over 150 countries and territories so far. The proud sponsors of the longest driven journey have already supplied spare parts for the vehicle on every continent.
LONGEST JOURNEY ON AN ELECTRIC MOBILITY VEHICLE (SCOOTER)
John Duckworth from Hincaster in Cumbria, UK has covered 2,662.8 km (1654.6 miles) on his Italian Vespa scooter on July 27, 2004. He has been riding alone which was unusual as he is a member of Vespa Club in the UK and we all know that scooter riders come in flocks only.
