Marcel Wanders has tumed his hand to electronics His linę of home entertainment products for Holland Electro, 'HE', a Dutch brand madę famous by its vacuum cleaners, was launched at IFA Berlin m September 2005. Never one to design the obvious, each item hides cutting-edge technology behind a patterned domestic aesthetic Speakers, home cinema, musie centres and transmitters are cunningly disguised as wooden side tables and objets d'art.

'Theatre': a side table with integrated home cinema. A DVD and central speaker are built mto the left side. and a subwoofer on the right. It comes with four highly decorated satellite speakers, 'Egg'

'Pandora': a side table with integrated woofer and two wireless speakers. It generates a 2.1 stereo sound for musie on a laptop or MP3 player

'Merlin' and 'Mathilda': two transmitters receiving wireless audio signals which can send musie from a laptop or MP3 player to speakers 'Egg' or 'Domino'. The former has a USB connector and the latter a 35mm pług using batteries.

'Wave TV’: a microwave that has an integrated TV screen in the door as well as a DVD player.
