This is the Deathgods' main job. They go about hunting for suitable targets who-se life span they are able to take as their own. They then write the name of their tar-gets onto the Death Notę. Just about any-one can be their target.
Perhaps this is how the Deathgods observe the human world.
Although Deathgods knowhow to use a Death Notę, it is not their responsi-bility to pass that knowiedge to the Death Note's human cwner.

A Death Notę cannot be re-issued
