RENAISSANCE

The design Renaissance is adapted from a fifteenth^century flame stitch pattern from Chastleton House in Gloucestershire, England where dressing room walls were covered with extensive canvaswork. Its flowing repetitive pattern of two different double images reflects the harmony of male/female energies.

This luxurious silk design, with its dominance of soft coral and deep reds, suggests the intimacy and passion of unconditional love coupled with warmth and compassion. Such shared love brings with it the deep inner joy of green and the radiant wisdom of gold. Between the many red tonalities, the blue and green sections symbolize tranąuillity and spaciousness, thus allowing space for each person to develop individual identity.
