©Fully tignten the tool holding bolts, but make surę the tool body is parallel with the case. If r.ecessary, one screw may be backed out slightly to !evel tool body.

°As pressure is applied, alternately tap on the front engine mounting boss, transmission shafts, and shift cam.

Us© soft hamrner to tap on the case half. Tap onfy on reinforced portśons of case. Do not tap on gjasket mating surfacs. Work slowly and carefully. SV!ake surę the case hallves separata sv©niy. 8f one end "hangs up," take presswre off the push screw, rea^igm, and start ovsr. S? ths cases do not separata, cbeck foir a remaining case screw or fitting. Do not force.
