REMOVAL - REFITTING OIL PUMP

REMOVAL
REMOVE THE TIMING BELT
.
Drain the engine oil
.
Remove the clutch housing bottom closing plate
.
Lock the flywheel with the stop [1]
.
Disconnect the compressor electrical supply
.
Unclamp the air conditioning pipe
.
Move aside the air conditioning compressor (1) with its securing bracket without opening the fluid circuit
.
Remove the compressor front bracket
.
Remove the crankshaft setting rod
.
Remove the bolt (2)
.
Remove
:
the crankshaft gear (3)
the tensioning roller (4)
the oil pump (5)
the oil seal

REFITTING
NOTE :
the oil pump is fitted with a composite gasket capable of withstanding removal several times; if the gasket is damaged, it can be partially repaired with SILICONE CATEGORIE 2 jointing paste
.
Fit
:
a new oil seal
the oil pump (3)
IMPERATIVE :
finger tighten then progressively tighten the securing bolts in the order shown (1 to 14)
.
Pre-tighten : 0.5 da.Nm
.
Tightening torque: 0.8 da.Nm
.
Check the tightening : 0.8 da.Nm
.
Proceed in the reverse order to removal
.
Tighten
:
the roller (4) : 8 da.Nm
bolt (2) to 4 80 m.daN then angular tightening to FACOM D.360 degrees using a type tool
Tighten the bolts (6) to 4 daN.m
.
Tighten the bolts (7) to 4 daN.m
.
REFIT THE TIMING BELT
.
Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal
.
