Confirmation Testing

Patient position:
Supine or sitting with the elbow held against
the patient’s side, or stabilized by the
examiner to avoid any shoulder abduction
movement. The forearm is maximally
pronated and the elbow flexed to ~60
degrees.

Examiner pressure:
At the lower forearm, above the wrist, in the
direction of supination.
