ProfileBuilder software builds motion and force
profiles using ramp, sine, dwell and other
segments

Control profiles can be time or event dependent

Control of multi-channel systems can be driven
by events that occur on other axes or
measurement channels

Common hydroforming scenario:

In order to minimize wall thinning, maintain
desired radii and avoid blow out, complex
monitoring and control of forces and motions are
needed. Interlaken’s control of forces and motions
easily alternate between various time and event
commands.

A typical process might require moving actuators
in position control, then switching to force
feedback for a portion of the cycle then switching
back to position to finish the part. Interlaken’s
control system with ProfileBuilder easily
implements these scenarios.
