The policemen took fingerprints from the bottle of cola. Then somebody knocked at the door. It was Mr Lowe's neighbour, Dora Boyd.

Mr Lowe called the police. The policemen came and looked for clues. In the kitchen they found a bottle of cola. `Do you drink cola?', they asked Mr Lowe. `No, I hate cola!', he said.

There was a terrible burglary in Cambridge on Wednesday. It was nine o'clock in the morning when Chris Lowe woke up and thought something was wrong. He wanted to put on his shoes but they weren't there! He wanted to sit on a chair, but there were no chairs!

`I saw the burglar', she said. `I woke up at night and I wanted to drink some tea. And I saw this man! He ran away through the window!' The police questioned the witness. `The thief was tall and thin. He looked like Mr Green, our neighbour.'
