3 Read the text. Complete it with the sentences A-E.
Dear Sarah,
Have you ever been to Boscastle? 0___F__ The village is at the seaside. There are two rivers there and a harbour. There are lots of fishermen in the village.
I went to Boscastle with my parents three years ago, in August. We were enjoying this holiday very much. The weather was not very good, but we visited lots of interesting places. 1_____ We were watching television and playing games when suddenly we heard somebody knocking at the door. 2_____ She was really worried. There was a flood in the village.
We got out of the house and we saw water everywhere. There were cars in the sea! Suddenly we saw a little girl. 3_____ We didn't know what to do. Luckily, we saw a helicopter and the people from the helicopter rescued the girl. We were so scared. There was more and more water, so we started to run. 4_____ Suddenly we saw water in front of us - everywhere. I started to scream! We saw helicopters in the air. We were safe!
It was a very big flood - one of the biggest in England! Luckily, nobody died in the flood, but water destroyed the village. 5_____ Now the village is nice again because people built new houses, but it took some time! I don't want to go there for a holiday again - I am scared!

WALES
AWales is a very beautiful country. There are some interesting cities in Wales and there are beautiful landscapes: mountains, islands and the sea. Wales is popular with tourists and more and more people come here every year.
BCardiff, on the south coast of Wales, is its capital and the largest city. The most attractive place in Cardiff is the Cardiff Castle in the centre of the city. The castle is really interesting for people who are keen on history. People not only visit the castle. You can also watch plays, listen to rock concerts and enjoy basketball matches in the castle.
CThere are lots of mountains in Wales. The highest mountain is in Snowdonia. It is called Snowdon. In the past there was a lot of snow on this mountain, but now it is not very snowy because it is warmer. But it is very wet in the mountains. If you are fond of climbing, you can climb Snowdon, but you can also walk there. There are plenty of paths to Snowdon.
DIf you prefer the sea, you should go to Gower. It's a great place for walkers who can go along the long beaches. These beaches are on the list of the best beaches in the world! The water in the sea is very clean there. People spend lovely holidays in small villages at the seaside.
EAnglesey is an island in the North of Wales. There are two famous bridges between the island and the main part of Wales. You can visit Sea Zoo in Anglesey to watch interesting animals. In Anglesey there is a village which has the longest name in the world. It's called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
