Plan of activities.
Teaching vocabulary connected with the story ”The princess and the frog”.
Time: 30 minutes
Students age: 9
Teaching objectives:
speaking,
writing,
listening,
reading,
pronunciation.
Teaching aids: flashcards, CD with the song and the e-book, puppets (a princess, a prince, a frog), colored posters, exercise, memory, word game, guessing game, matching game, papers, certain, crown and frog mask.
Procedure the sequence of tasks:
Teacher says “Good morning children!”.
Teacher presents the special guests by the teacher ( the frog, the princess, the prince).
Teacher introduces a new vocabulary and children repeat aloud these words and show some words.
Teacher groups the learners and they play in the memory game.
Children listen and watch the theater about “The princess and the frog”.
Learners work in pairs. They compose the pictures in correct order just like in the story.
Learners listen a song and fill missing words in the exercise.
Children play in word game which is on the blackboard.
Pupils and teachers stand in the circle. They have to listen a music and do what teacher says (some activities).
Play dictionary: one team draws a picture and other team guests what it is.
Students have to order and write letters in correct way.
Teacher gives to the children a homework.
Teacher say “Goodbye children!” .
