I am writing to inform you that the goods I ordered from your company have not been supplied correctly.
I placed an order with your firm for 500 fountain pens on 28 March. The order was based on a sample pen which your manufacturer’s representative left. Unfortunately I faced some problems which I explain below.
First of all, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the consignment contained only 50 pens instead of the 500 that I ordered.
To make matters worse most of pens which arrived, precisely 37, are faulty. Some of them skip or write few lines and then stop and the others have bad converter pump because ink globs while writing or a large amount of ink flows onto the paper.
These errors put my firm in a difficult position, as I had to make some emergency purchases to fulfill commitments to all our customers. This caused me considerable inconvenience.
Taking into consideration all the trouble I experienced, I insist on a full refund for damaged products. I also expect to make up the shortfall immediately and to ensure that such errors do not happen again. Otherwise, we may have to look elsewhere for our supplies.
Please respond to my complaint in the next 14 days. If you fail to respond or put the problem right in this time, I will have no option but to consider taking the matter further.
