NOTES
Gauge is not important to this project and you may use other weights of yarn. Just make sure you are using a
comfortable hook for the yarn you choose and that the smaller hook creates tight enough stitches so the fiberfill
stuffing will not show through.
An I hook with worsted weight yarn should give you around an 18” blanket.
When working in rounds that are not joined, use the stitch marker to hold your place as necessary.
Use optional directions in the boxes for Blanket and Arms or switch colors as desired.
A picture guide for hair is on page 4.

LATCH HOOK HAIR
Fold piece of yarn in half and pull a loop through desired stitch. Pull tails through loop and pull tight.
EMBROIDERED HAIR
Cut lengths of HAIR yarn double the desired length for hair. Fill in hair - begin by filling in
hair around the outside of the wig and then the part, and top of head. Fill in the rest as
needed.
Tie hair in so that it lays flat depending on how it is to be styled (the V should face up
instead of the bump).
Tie in two pieces per stitch for the part. Have one side of the part lay to the right and the
other side to the left.
Starting from the back of the hairline, embroider
from the head and over top the wig cap, hiding the
edge of the cap. Once the back is filled start filling in
the hairline at the part. Stitch over top the
embroidery in the back giving the hair a layered
look. Fill in until the entire wig cap is covered.
