TOPIC / THEME: Function - 2v1 Attacking

DESCRIPTION OF PRACTICE:
A functional practice designed to improve players in the creation and exploitation of space in a 2v1 practice, using different combination plays
ORGANISATION:
	Grid size: 20m x 15m 8 players; 4 players in each group positioned at opposite ends of the grid Attackers have a ball each One Defender and one Attacker start in the middle of the grid The ball is passed into space for the Attacker Defender tries to prevent the Attacker from turning The Server joins in to combine with the Attacker to exploit space Players rotate to the back of their group Players change roles on the Coach's signal

KEY OBSERVATION FACTORS:

Create space Angle of support Distance of support Timing and angle of the supporting run Disguise movement and pass Exploit Space by running with or with out the ball

Players must read the situation before offering support
