Przeczytaj poniższy artykuł. Na podstawie informacji w nim zawartych zdecyduj, które z podanych zdań są zgodne z treścią tekstu (TRUE), a które nie (FALSE).

The idea of talking to plants to help them to grow was first introduced by a German professor in 1848. Dr Gustav Fechner believed that plants had feelings and emotions just like humans and liked it when someone talked to them.

Later studies suggested that soft music, such as classical music, could help plants although it also found that loud rock music could cause them to die.

But is there any truth in all this? Well, a new study shows that talking to plants helps but for different reasons. If you get close to a plant and talk to it, you will breathe carbon dioxide on it which is the gas that plants need to live. However, it is only effective if you spend several hours a day doing this.
