5.Threats.

A threat is a kind of order which aims at provoking a desirable behaviour. It consists of an order and the information about consequences if it will not be carried out. The result of a threat depends on interlocutor’s believing in the likelihood of carrying out sanctions. Threatening may lead to inflaming a conflict and to an unfavourable situation for negotiations.
