To make the triangular points at the top of the purse.
Decide which is the front of the purse and which is the back. Place the triangular points on the front first.
Turn the beaded tubę over and read from the graph in figurę 6. These points are done one at a time (figurę 4). Zig-zag through the body of the purse and exit bead C from the left. Follow figurę 4 and peyote stitch the next five beads. Exit bead D. Half-hitch around a woven thread to secure the row and pass the needle back through bead D and the last bead of the row. Continue adding rows and reducing until there is only one bead left.
After anchoring the single bead at the top, zig-zag the thread down through the beads and out through bead X (figurę 6) and make the first fringe embellishment.
String:
• One 2mm gold bead
• 20 pearlized delicas
• One 2mm gold bead
• One fresh-water pearf
• One 2mm gold bead
Return the needle through all but the bottom bead. Be surę to snug the fringe up against the beadwork. Take the needle into the woven beads. Bring the needle again through the first 2mm gold bead.
String:
• 10 pearlized delicas
• One 2mm gold bead
• One fresh-water pearl
• One 2mm gold bead
Return through all but the bottom bead including the first 2mm gold bead and back into the woven beadwork.
Zig-zag over to bead E and make the next triangular point. Hang the second two-strand branched fringe from the other bead X. Make the third triangular point begin-ning at bead C.
Upon completing the third triangle, take the thread through the woven beadwork and exit bead H. Using the odd-count fiat peyote stitch, make the first of the cord conduits.
