To create the fringe. Take the thread out through the top outside bead of one side of the purse. Do several half-hitches to secure the thread. String the following delicas:

•    One cut silver

•    Ninę round gold

•    One cut silver

•    One silver-lined elear

•    One cut gold

•    One cut silver

•    Five round gold

•    Five cut silver

Run the needle through all but the last five cut silver delicas to create a loop at the bottom ot the fringe. Run the needle back through the last two beads of the row, then take the needle down along the next lower row. String the next fringe (figurę 5).

To create the loops on the flap. For the threading path refer to figurę 6. For eafch loop string the following delicas:

•    Five round gold

•    One cut silver

•    One cut gold

•    One cut silver

•    Five round gold

String the following delicas for the center loop with the c rys tal drop:

•    Seven round gold

•    One cut silver

•    The crystal drop

•    One cut silver

•    Seven round gold

To make the strap. String enough round gold delicas to create the desired length of strap. String a second strand of the same length. Tie the two strands together with a surgeon's knot. Slip a 4mm gold bead onto the tied end. Pass the tails through bead A as shown on graph three. Weave each taił back into the loomwork using several half-hitches to secure the strap.

Twist each strand of the strap tightly. Tie the two strands together with a surgeon's knot. Slip a 4mm gold bead over the two tails. Be surę to keep the twists in each strand while weaving the tails back through bead B and into the loomwork. Use several half-hitches to secure the strap.
