Sailing On The Waves

Materiate For Cach Child:

1 tagboard boat cutout 1 sheet of 9" x 12* construction paper 1 crałt stick sponge

tempera pamts in bright colors, including wbite

blue tempera pamt in a shallow Container pamtbrusbes glue

Use the pattern below to cut a tagboard boat for each chitd. Have a craft knife ready.

1.    Paint the boat and altów to dry

2.    Glue the craft stick to the back ot the boat.

3.    Use the sponge to print blue sea on the bottom halt of the paper

■4. Use a paintbrush to add white tips to the waves Allow to dry.

5. Use a craft knife to cut an 8" slit in the paper. below the waves. O

Poke the craft stick through the slit. and move it about to sail your boat on the sea.
