Class Preparatfong:

Collect one smali and one large cereal box for each child Cut one from the large box as shown

Tug Boat

Materials For Each Child: 1 large and 1 smali cereal t>ox cork

tempera paints

paintbrush

glue

Plrections:

1.    Paint the large cereal box and allow to dry.

2.    Paint the smali cereal box to make the tug's cabin, with Windows on the sides. Allow to dry.

3.    Glue the smali cereal box inside the base of the larger cereal box.

*4. Glue on a cork for a smokestack.

Class Aquarium

Materłalg For Each Child:

1 lagboard fish

1 cardboard carton or cereal box, to share sand and pebbies tempera paints and pamibrushes short length of thread

Class Preparat I ong:

For this group project. use the pattern on page 126 to cut a tagboard fish for each child. Cut out one side oł the carton. Ieav»ng a 3* frame all the way around. Have tape and a sheet of light blue cellophane or elear plastic wrap ready

1. Paint your fish on both sides. Allow to dry 7. Help put sand and peobles in the bottom of the carton to make an aquarium. (J>
