Near the top of the purse, close to the bottom of the ribbon, stitch two size 6^S green seed beads to the front (bead A) and two to the back (bead B) of the purse (see the photograph, page 16). To a taił of the orange strand string 22 size 11° orange seed beads, one size 6° green seed bead (bead C) and then another 15 size 11° green seed beads (figurę 8). Take the needle through the size 6° green seed bead you've attached near the top front of the purse (bead A). Check to see that bead C on the strap sits above the ribbon. If not, add morę size 11° green seed beads. Pick up 15 or morę size 11° green seed beads and pass back through bead C. Continue up the strand of 22 orange and exit bead D.

Repeat this procedurę with the other taił using size 11° green seed beads. You should now havc two tails exiting the top of bead D. Puli the working threads up a little tight and tie together using a surgeon's knot. Make surę the knot is tied around the strand threads. Glue the knot and thread each individual taił up through a strand. Attach the other end of the strap in the same manner.
