To renew a bali thread
It is not strictly necessary to tie a knot when renewing a bali thread.
Instead, conceal the loose end of new thread A by running it inside the first few stitches of the nearest ring, and conceal the loose end of old thread B in the following chain. Both ends will be safely anchored, and can be clipped once the chain is completed.
Do not attempt this loose-end tech-nique when renewing a shuttle thread, or the work may puli apart.
