Using Coats Chain Mercer Cróchet No. 20 each half collar measures 6.5 cm (2% in) in width, and 19 cm (7V.2 in) in length along the neck edge.

The diagram shows half the design, and the remainder should be completed to match. The inner edging is worked last.

For all motifs, start at A with a ring of (3ds, p) 5 times, 3ds; rw.

Chain of (4ds, p) twice, 4ds, join shuttle thread to ring A as shown, and continue from the diagram. All rings are the same size but their orientation varies.

In motifs 1, 2 and 3, chains join to rings A, B, D and E by the shuttle thread.

In motif 4, chains join to rings A and B by the shuttle thread.
