MA TERIALS: DMC Brilliant crochet cotton no. 5, 218-yd balls : 5 (6-7) balls beige. Steel crochet hook US size 4. Two knitting needles US size 00. Sewing needle and matching thread.

PA UERN STITCHES: FILET: Row I : Work (I dc, 1 ch, sk 1 st) across. end with 1 dc; ch 4 to turn throughout. Next rows : Work (dc over dc. 1 ch) across. PUFF: Holding back last Ip of each dc on hook, work 3 dc in each om of prev row. yo, draw thread through 4 Ips on hook. R1BBING : Knit 1, purl 1.

GA UGE : 4” square = 27 sts x 11 dc rows. To save limę. tukę time to check Kaiige.

TO MAKE - BACK : Starting at lower edge, ch 111 (121-131). Row 1 : Ch 3. work dc in 4th st from hook and in each st across; ch 3. turn. Rep r 1 until piece measures 12 1/4” (12 l/2”-13”) from bcg, then Shape Armholes : SI st looseiy across llrsl 9 (10-11) sts. cont in dc. leave last 9 (10-11) sts unworkcd, then dec 1 st on each side every 2 rows twice. When piece measures 18 1/2” (19 l/4”-20”) from beg. fasten olT.
