To make the legs, cut a piece of dough measuring 38 x 50mm (VA x 2in). Cut a 25mm (1 in) slit up the centre with a knife, to divide the legs. Cut a cocktail stick in half, and push one half up each of the legs from the bottom leaving 6mm (!4in) of the stick protruding.
CRoll two smali ropes of dough for the shoes. Make a smali slit at the top of each shoe and holes either side of the slits with a cocktail stick. Join the shoes to the legs spearing them on the cocktail stick.
S Stand the bottom half of the man up on his feet and smooth out the sides and back of the legs using a damp paintbrush.
To make the body, cut a piece of thick dough measuring 32 x 38mm (1 / x 1 ’/in) Make a vertical slit down the centre of the body to make a shirt. Make some buttonholes one side of the shirt using the point of a cocktail stick.
Cut off a quarter off the length of a cocktail stick. Push the longer piece through the centre body. Join the body to the top of the trousers.
a Roli a thin strip of dough for the belt and buckie and join them around the waist.
Roli out some dough until it is 3mm (%in) thick. Cut a two pieces measuring 38 x 50mrr (1 'A x 2in). Lay both pieces in front of you and shape the armholes by cutting off the two top corners. Join one piece to the back of the body.
Cut the second piece in half. Join the pieces to the front of the body to make the jacket. Wet the side seams of the jacket and gently press them together. Smooth the seams with a damp paintbrush. Tum up the lower edge of the jacket with your finger and thumb.
MRoll two finger ropes of dough, each measuring 45mrn (1%in) long for the arms. Flatten one end of each ropę to make the hands and shape the fingers with a knife.
Cut two pieces of thin dough measuring 25 x 45mm (1 x 1#in) to make the sleeves. Wet one side of each piece and wrap them around the arms. Join the arms to the body. Smooth the seams with a damp paintbrush. Turn the fingers inwards towards the body.
