SUN AND BUMBLE BEE MOBILE
Return the top of the mobile to the oven and bakę at 120°C (250°F or Gas Mark JO for one hour.
Once the mobile, suns, hive and bumble bees have cooled, you can paint them. I used bright, cheerful colours. Apply two coats of varnish once the paint is dry.
Put a drop of fast-setting glue in the eyelet holes of the bumble bees to keep the pins securely in place.
Thread the bead on one end of the cord and secure with a knot. Thread the other end of the cord through the centre hole of the bowl and tie the ring to the end. If you hang the bowl up somewhere, it will make the mobile easier to assemble.
Cul a length of fishing wire measuring 180mm (7in). Thread one end through the hole in the -iive, and tie a few knots to secure it. Thread the other end of the same wire through the bead at the top and secure with a few knots.
Cut the remaining wire into four pieces, and tie one length to each of the four holes around the top. Thread the four suns onto the wires (top hole first), and slide them up to within 75mm (3in) from the top of the mobile Thread the other ends of the same wires through the four eyelet holes in the centre of the bees and tie them with a few knots.
