Trtr (triple treble): (Yam over) fbur times, insert hook into stitch or space indicated and puli up a loop, (yam over and puli through 2 loops on hook) five times.

Base md, each side: Multiple of 16 + 15 + comer sts.

Begi n 2 sts to left of comer sL

Rnd 1: Ch4 (counts as dc and ch-1), skip 1 st, *[dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1 st] to corner st (dc, ch 1) three times in comer st — comer group madę, skip 1 st rep from * around, join with slip st to 3rd ch of ch-4. Fastenoff.

Rnd 2: Join yam in 2nd ch-space of any comer group, ch 7 (courts as trtr, ch 1), *skip 4 ch-spaces, (Long Stitch irto next ch-space, ch 1) three times, Long Stitch into next ch-sp; working behind previous Long Stitches, Long Stitch into first skipped ch-space, (ch 1, Long Stitch into next skipped ch-space) three times, ch 1; rep from * to comer group, trtr in next ch-space, ch 1, (trtr, ch 1) five times in comer st** — corner gtoup madę, trtr in next ch-space, ch 1; rep fiom * around, ending last rep at **, join with slip st in 6th chof ch-7.
