Notę: This edging is easily customized for your bufon and yam size. This sample uses 1" buttons spaced at 2 W intervals, reguiring 2-stitch bufonholes. łf s a simpletaskto make the chain/skip buttonhole larger or smaller to accommodate your favorite buttons.
Notions: Any number of 1" buttons (the sample shown here is JHB International #53390).
BLsc (back loop single cnochet): Work 1 single crochet i nto the back loop only.
FLsc (front loop single crochet): Work 1 single crochet i nto the front bop only.
Base md, each side: Any multiple.
Begininany stitch.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around, putting 3 sc in each comer st, join with slip st to first sc, tum.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, BLsc in each sc around, putting 3 BLsc in each corner st join with slip st to first sc, tum.
Rnds 3-7: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, putting 3 sc in each comer st, join with slip st to first sc, tum. Fasten off at the end of Rnd 7. Using a safety pin or smali piece of yarn, mark tocations of buttons evenly spaced around.
Rnd 8: With right side facing, join yam in front loop of first st on Rnd 1, ch 1, FLsc in each st around, putting 3 FLsc in each comer st, join with slip stto first sc, tum.
Rnd 9: Rep Rnd 3.
