INTERNET

Advantages:

The latest information is available to you at
any time, quickly and easily . People are
used to:

•Send and receive e- mail messages

•Look for information on the internet

•Play music

•Watch films

•Do shopping online

•Pay bills

•Read the press and books

•Book holidays and hotel rooms

•Chat and talk online

Disadvantages:

•With so much information , finding what you want can take hours

•There is too much advertising instead of real information

•Making chat freinds is not the same as actually meeting people

•Web pages with photographs , music and video make
downloading slow and boring

• Can damage your eysight and is harmful to your spine

•Teenagers do not take enough physical exercise as they prefer to
spend long hours siiting in front of the computer screen

•THE MOST IMPORTANT DISADVANTAGE IS CYBER-
ADDICTION

WEBAHOLISM

This addiction is considered to be a mental weakness and
it can be treated in the same way as any other type
addiction: alcoholism, nicotinism, workaholism, drug
addiction and other.

People addicted to the Internet:

•Get alienated form real world

•Have only virtual reationship

•Become nervous, irritable

•Neglect their duties

•Lose control of how much time they spend in virtual
reality
