HOSPITALITY IN POLAND
The hospitality in Poland has very old tradition. The Polish proverbs says: ”a friend in need is a friend indeed.” and a typical custom in Poland is “a guest at home means God at home” That is why the Polish people donate their children and to the others for generations. Some one can think that it is wrong but we do our best to greet ours guests warmly at home. We always offer them very good food and a lot of drink. When we visits our friends we usually take some flowers and cake for the hostess (but remember-take the odd number of flowers and remove the paper before giving them) and a bottle of alcohol for the host. If they have a child or children we take sweets or small gift for them. The custom is that a man usually wears a suit and a woman is always smart. We are always eager to meet our friends. We can talk about everything: money, politics, religion, family and so on. We sometimes arrive on time but often we are late. The typical habit in Poland is that we come a little bit later than we should ,but nobody is angry with each other.
