I love war movies, especially about world war 2. So my favouirite movies are: ,,Private Ryan,, ,,Enemy at the gate,, ,,Gold for the brave,, ,,Only for eagles,, or ,, One bridge to far,, .So I will discribe on of them. I think that ,,Private Ryan,, is the best of them all and deserves most apllause.That production hit me allready in the first 10 minutes of the film.When the brave Ally's took the Omaha beach by storm. But let us start film the beginning; the whole movie is about all WW2.So we have the ally's,germans, russians and polish soldiers and they way of handling the war.But the scriptc says about an company which comes under Tom Hanks.They are one of the thousands companys in the united forces.But they are given a strange mission.They have to go to france and save an private.His last name is Ryan.He had 3 brothers and they all died in battle.So the command decided to save the last of the Ryan family.So their mother would have adleast one son left of 4.And hier is where the brave company of Tom Hanks arrives.They pack immedietly ond go to find and save the title private Ryan.And that's what the film is all about.The brave commander and his crew on a difficult mission.But the best about the whole production are the special effects where they dont saved the money on the stunts,explosions,the ww2 equipment and lots of things.The film briliantly imitates the 1940 to 1945 years.The whole climate of the war.And the beautifull music that gives the magic mood.There are not many stars in the movie, just Tom Hanks.But he is playing briliantly.I think that ,,PR,, is his best movie ever.
I think that movies such as ,,Private Ryan,, ,,Enemy at the gate,, ,,Gold for the brave,, ,,Only for eagles,, or ,, One bridge to far,, are very important for us and the future generations,because they show us how our grand fathers,fathers worked for peace,a peace that us can live in.Today many peaple doesnt appreciate the work that people made in the ww2.But as long as films like those will come the knowlege about the soldiers and the sacriface they made will grow from day to day.Ad least i hope it does.
"A walk to remember" - recenzja filmu.
"A walk to remember" is a beaultiful, moving film directed by Adam Shankman. It is based on best-selling Nicolas Sparks's novel. Film is set in the little town of Beaufort in North Carolina. London Carter (handsome Shane West) remembers his senior year at Beaufort Highschool and Jamie Sullivan (young pop singer Mandy Moor), the girl who changed his life.
Jamie was the last person Landon was likely to fall for. Serious and conservative, she was as far from cool as she could possibly be, and didn't care. The daughter of the town's Baptist minister, Jamie was not afraid of letting people know that her faith was the most important part of her life. Landon is moody, reckless guy. He had no plans, no future and no faith in himself.
One night ,a prank that he and his friends made on his new buddy goes terribly wrong and a guy lands in hospital .As punishment, Landon musttutor a young student at a poor school and participate in spring play inhis school. London is forced to ask Jamie for help. Soon, against his own expectations, Landon finds himself falling in love with this girl, who possesses a passion for life he never imagined possible. But it isn't easy. For reasons of her own, Jamie does everything she can to run away from romance until it becomes impossible to deny.

A film review - "Seven"
Gluttony, greed, sloth, envy, wrath, pride and lust - these are the seven deadly sins that are being punished with cruelty by an enigmatic killer in David Fincher's thriller SEVEN. The director doesn't want his audience to be comfortable for a moment while watching "Seven". Shaky camera shots, dark sets and disturbing script that takes its characters to the extremes of emotion all contribute to the film creating a strange feeling that stays with you for a couple of hours after the film.
Set in an always gloomy unnamed city, the film follows Somerset (Morgan Freeman), retiring police detective, as he experiences his final week on the job, reluctantly working with an assertive newcomer Mills (Brad Pitt), the two being teamed for a murder invastigation. When a obese man is found brutally murdered in his home, Somerset realizes this is not ordinary killing - someone tortured him because of his appetite. Act of slayer that reflect the sins of greed and sloth soon follow, leading Somerset and Mills on a desperate search to find the man, who is responsible for these murders.
What gives "Seven" its unsetting impact is the way the film connects with each character, even with victims who are never seen alive. The audience comes to know Freeman, Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow (as Pit's wife) intimately - whatever affects them, affects the viewer equally. The killer is played by a well-known actor who is not named in the openings credits (the producers wanted to keep his identity a surprise).
Although very littel of violence in "Seven" is on screen, it is more disturbing than a horror movie. The tension is so well played that even though the unsatisfying conclusion becomes obvious a good 15 minutes before the climax, it doesn't dimnish the strange feeling in your stomach at all.
Brilliant photography and designe, brilliant direction and exellent performances from the entire cast.
Because of the way it affects the emotions, seeing "Seven" should not be taken lightly. It's a difficult movie to forget.
Film review - Legally Blonde
“Legally Blonde” is an American comedy based on the book by Amanda Brown set in the American reality. Reese Witherspoon plays the main role as Elle Woods. She is a typical blonde girl, but it is not the next stupid film about a stupid girl. Elle is going to show how to get to the top of the World!
Elle has a boyfriend Warner, and she is more than sure that one special evening he is going to propose her. The occasion is diffrent, he decides to break up with her because his wife has got to be intelligent, and he believes Elle is not like this. She breaks down, but also comes to the conclusion that the only way to get her Warner back is to prove that she is not as stupid as everybody thinks. She gets to Harvard University and she starts studying a law. There she gets to know Warner`s new girlfriend Vivian, they hate each other from the very beginning. She decides to fight for her sweetheart. After several unsuccessful trials she does not give up. Finally she is one of the best students and she conducts her first case and to others` surprise she wins. Warner, having found out about it, tells Elle she is the only girl he always loved. This time Elle does not believe him and she just leaves him. After all Warner parts with Vivian who become the best Elle`s friend.
“Legally blonde” by Robert Luketic is a really good film. It has everything what a good comedy should have, it is very funny, full of humour, but not the one which is showen in all comedies, we do not hear the jokes which were already used. It is very witty, sometimes even sad and touching. In my opinion Reese Witherspoon is a great actress because it is not that easy as we think to play such a role, silly and spoiled girl, and she does it perfectly.
I think one ought to watch this film because by watching it we can both have a good time and learn something. We can learn how to achieve the thing we thought we would never do. It teaches us not to give up, aspire to our purpose and not to care about what others think. I also recommend the film`s soundtrack where we can find 2 very nice songs “Perfect Day” by Hoku, and “Watch me shine” by Joanna Pacitti.
