Evie: Hi, Jessica! It's me, Evie

Jessica: Hi.

Evie: What's the matter, Jessica?

Jessica: Nothing, I'm just a bit fed up.

Evie: Why are you fed up?

Jessica: Because I can't got to Tom's party next Saturday. And I can't go to the cinema with you on Friday!

Evie: Oh, no! Why can't you go?

Jessica: Because I failed my maths exam on Monday and my parents are really angry. And they're worried.

Evie: Poor you! Look, why don't we do our maths homework together? And we can study together for the next exam.

Jessica: Thanks Evie, that's a great idea!

Jonny: What's the problem, Simon?

Simon: Nothing … I'm just a bit worried.

Jonny: Why are you worried?

Simon: I failed my History exam yesterday and my History teacher isn't very happy.

Jonny: Did you study lots?

Simon: Er … no, that's the problem. It was so sunny and warm last week… I went to the park every evening and to the beach at the weekend.

Jonny: Simon, you're crazy! There's an English exam next Tuesday. Why don't you come to my house and study?

Simon: Oh, okay Johnny, good idea.
