Track 10
Bill: Now over to Tim for our afternoon weather report …
Tim: Thanks, Bill. This is Tim Murray and I'm in the city of Edinburgh in Scotland. It's very strange weather today because it's snowing! Yes, it's 4th May and it is snowing! This is very unusual. The temperature is 1 degree centigrade and it's very cloudy and windy too. Let's talk to Janet now who is in the south of England in Brighton. Is there snow in Brighton, Janet?
Janet: In Brighton it's a warm day. The temperature is 20 degrees centigrade. There aren't any clouds and the sun is shining!
Tim: Lucky you, Janet!
Bill: Thanks, Tim and Janet. Now let's look at the weather in the rest of Europe. There's no snow in Moscow, Russia but it is raining there and it's windy, with temperatures of just 15 degrees. In France, in Paris it's warm but it's cloudy. Temperatures are around 19 degrees. In Madrid in Spain it's really sunny there today with very warm temperatures of 26 degrees. Lucky Madrid! In Warsaw, in Poland, it's sunny but windy, with temperatures of about 17 degrees. So, no snow in Europe today, just in poor old Edinburgh!
