Adam: No … I prefer black jeans. Excuse me, have you got any black jeans?

Shop ass: Yes, over here.

Adam: Thanks. Now … have they got a size 44? Ben, can you see a size 44?

Ben: Yes, here, try these on. Look, the changing room is over there.

Adam: What do you think?

Ben: Very cool, I like them. How much are they?

Adam: They're £30. Not bad.

Ben: Look, try this belt, it's really nice and it's cheap - only £8!

Adam: You're joking! The gold one? No thanks. But I like that green one, how much is it?

Ben: It's more expensive - it's £15.

Adam: That's OK. I'll take the black jeans and the green belt. How much is that altogether?

Ben: That's £45.

Eddie: Hi, Amy. Would you like to come to a party?

Amy: Which party?

Eddie: It's Pablo's party, he's my Spanish friend. It's for his 15th birthday.

Amy: Sounds good. When is it?

Eddie: It's next Saturday, the 10th of June.

Amy: I'm a bit busy on Saturday.

I'm going to Manchester for the day with my sister, we're going to buy a birthday present for our dad. The shops in Manchester are the best!

Eddie: That's OK. The party starts late, at about eight in the evening.

Amy: Great, well, I'd love to come then! Where is it?

Eddie: It isn't at Pablo's house, it's at the youth club on North Street.

Amy: OK.

Suzi: Hi, everyone.

Eddie: Hi Suzi, what about you? Do you want to come to a party on Saturday?

Suzi: Oh, I'd love to but I can't. I'm going to London next weekend … It's my cousin's birthday on Sunday 11th June and he wants me to go to his party.

Eddie: Who, your cousin Tom?

Suzi: Yes, Tom, he's 16. His party's at his house in King Street, at about 8 o'clock. Would you like to come Eddie?

Eddie: No, thanks. I'm busy, I'm going to Pablo's party and then I'm going to sleep all day Sunday!

Suzie and Amy: Me too!
