e) Save the Kids Our charity sends medical support to countries in need. We are looking for volunteers for three hours on Saturday and two on Sunday for fundraising in the town centre.

f) Hospital Ride We need a volunteer for two mornings a week to drive people who do not have their own transportation to the hospital.

Delia: How was Karen's party?

Jane: Oh, OK.

Delia: What happened?

Jane: Well, Michael rang on Friday and asked me if I wanted to go with him. I told him I'd love to go but I had to ask Dad. Anyway Dad said I could go but I had to promise to be back before half past ten.

Delia: That's pretty early.

Jane: I know, but I promised because I really wanted to go. So on Saturday Michael picked me up and we went to the party.

Jane: Yes, it was good - so good that I forgot the time! I missed the last bus and I had to call Dad and ask him to pick me up.

Delia: What time was that?

Jane: It was half past eleven, so he was really angry. When we got home, we had a big argument and he said I hadn't been sensible and that I couldn't go to The Rock Angels concert.

Delia: Oh dear. It's just because he worries about you.

Jane: I know, but sometimes he drives me crazy.
