Beforc vihi sew in rhe :ippor, liro straighten out thc edges with slip stitches (see drawing on pnge 7i)- To do this, pot thc yam under the work. Insen the hook betwccn rhe 2 bound-otT stitches at thc bottom of thc slit, and bring thc yam through to the top. Leave eiunigh yam to work thc row ot slip stitches on thc other sklc.
