FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Remove the fork spring, seat washer and spacer.

Pour out the fork fluid by pumping the fork up and down sever-al times.

(3) SPACER

Hołd the fork slider in a vise with soft jaws or a shop towel. Remove the fork slider socket bolt.

CAUTION

• Do not distort the fork slider by clamping it too tightly in a vice.

Remove the dust seal and stopper ring. CAUTION

• Be carefut not to damage the fork tubę.

(1) DUST SEAL

(2) STOPPER RING

In quick, successive motions, puli the fork tubę out of the slider.

NOTĘ

• The slider bushing that is pressed into the slider and the fork tubę bushing, on the end of the fork tubę, must be forced out.

Remove the oil lock piece from the fork slider.

Remove the piston and rebound spring from the fork tubę.
