Place the fork slider in a vise with soft jaws or a shop towel. Apply a locking agent to the socket bolt threads and tighten the bottom socket bolt.

TOROUE: 20 N-m (2.0 kg-m, 14 ft-lb)

Coat a new oil seal with ATF (see next page) and install it onto the fork tubę with the marks facing out.

Drive the oil seal in place using a fork seal driver and attach-ment.

Install the stopper ring into the groove of the fork slider secure-iy.
