To make the legs, roli a finger-size ropę lOOrnm (4in) long. Cut the ropę m half, and lay the two halves on a baking tray. Round orf the end of each leg to make the feet. Make indentations on the feet.
Make two smali frills to fit around each ankle (see Making Frills on page 15). Join the two legs together at the top.
Roli a fat ropę, about 30mm (1 !4in) thick. Flatten the ropę slightly with the palm of your hand. Cut a piece measuring 50mm (2in) from the ropę. Join the body to the legs.
DOUGHCRAFT
Salt dough ■ f}
170g (6oz) plain flour 75g (307) table salt 75ml (3fl oz or top) water You will need:
2 smali black plastic bcads Cocktail stick Hairpm cut to 25mm (1 in)
Kitchen foil
Mint green, white, black, light brown and strong pink paints
CRoll out some dough until it is fairly thin. Cut a rectangle measuring 50 x 150mm (2 x 6in). Gather the long edge of the rectangle in to about 56mm (2'4in). Flatten the gathered edge slightly with your finger, and trim off any excess dough to make a straight edge.
SLay the skirt on the body, so that the frills on the ankles just peep out of the bottom hem. Join the underside of the gathered edge to the waist, tucking the edges around the back of the body. Fold the two side edges of the skirt over in a smali hem. Crush some smali pieces of kitchen foil, and push them under the skirt to stop it from going fiat when baked.
