• Aims of the course (effects of the course): Learning mechanism, course and efficiency of unconventional unit processes used for drinking water treatment and some industrial purposes. Evaluation of technological parameters influences on the investigated process efficiency. Knowledge of water ąuality deterioration problems. Preparing for presentation and discussion problems connected with removal different contaminants from surface and groundwater.

• Course description: Drinking water treatment - repetition of main principles. Unconventional unit processes used for surface and underground water treatment for municipal and selected industrial purposes. Chemical and biological water stability. Water ąuality deterioration in some treatment processes and in water supply distribution system.
