Polymer materials based on starch can be used as absorbers of water from minerał concentrates, before the trans-portation by sea. These materials are particularly attractive because they are based on natural renewable resources, which are environmentally friendly. The result of the tests indicate that presence of starch significantly influences on properties of the concentrates, important from the point of view of sea transport safety.
