Introducing the use of can, could and be allowed to. Teacher explains when do we use them and what the difference is between each of them.

Students complete the text with the correct form of be allowed to (ex.4, p.81, student's book) Class checks the answers altogether
Students practice using can and could by completing the text using can and can't could and couldn't. (workbook, ex. 3, p. 59) Teacher asks each student to read on sentence from the text and checks the answer.
Students practice the use of can, could and allowed to by marking the correct word in the text (workbook, ex. 4, p. 59) Teacher checks the answers while supervising the students.
Students practice pronunciation. They listen and repeat words can, can't, could, couldn't, are, aren't, was wasn't, were, weren't (ex.6,7, p.81, student's book)
