Purple Zig Zags

Practice making wire coils with this
easy earring project. If you don’t own a
crochet hook or knitting needle, use a
narrow piece of metal, like a skewer (used
for shish kabobs) or a plant stake.
FinisheD siZe:
¼”
Materials:
28” purple craft wire
6 4 mm silver rounds
2 silver ear wires
tools:
Wire cutters

step 1: Coil the wire around the crochet hook until it is
approximately ¼” to ½” in length. Slide the coil
off the hook.
step 2: String silver round. Bend the wire 45 degrees
and then create your second coil, the same
length as the first. Repeat twice, until you have a
total of 4 coils separated by 3 silver rounds.
step 3: Carefully slide one end of the coil onto the ear
wire. Gently pull the ear wire forward to the
second loop in the coil.
step 4: Repeat steps -3 for second earring.
