The future of mobile phones Today, about 60% of teenagers in the UK have a mobile phone and they use their phone a lot. Jessica told us, `I use my mobile phone every day to call and text my friends.' ^1 _____________. But how will we use our mobile phones? We asked some teenagers what they think. 97% of teenagers think that mobile phones will get better. ^2 _____________. People will store all their music and all their photos on their phone. Luke tells us, `I've had a mobile phone for 6 years now, and my first phone looks very old-fashioned! My phone today has a good memory, but in 10 years' time I probably won't use a computer. ^3_____________' But only about 8% of teenagers agree with Luke here. Most teenagers will still use their computers at home. ^4 _____________. That's what Megan thinks. `We won't have credit cards or money in 10 years' time, we'll use our phones and we'll use them to shop online. ^5 _____________.' But only 7% of teenagers agree with Megan. Most teenagers say they will use money and they will go shopping - because they love going to the shops! Joel says, `We'll still have money in 10 years' time, of course. In 100 years' time money will probably disappear!' One thing is sure: mobile phones won't disappear - yet!
