12. Honesty- what does it mean to you? Is it difficult to live up to it's standards?
The simplest explanation of honesty is saying the truth. Honest people don't lie.
Everyone knows that telling truth is good and we shouldn't lie because it's not moral. When we are honest we can avoid misunderstandings, lies and their consequences. People around us consider us as trustworthy. They know that we will always say what we really think.
On the other hand our real thoughts aren't always positive and sometimes truth is not what people want to hear. It can be painful and when we don't want to hurt someone we just lie. People might even hate us for our criticism because no one likes it.
All in all even if sometimes truth isn't simple and it can hurt it is very precious. Not everyone is able to tell the truth today. There are still people who always want us to be honest, to tell what we really have on our mind instead of lying even if it's connected with criticism and hard to accept.
