7-10 slightly longer att+conc span, can deliberately listen, 20-25min

11-12 longer span than 7-10

Characteristics of children teaching

Grammar: pupils not mature enough to talk about grammar rules, show them patterns and examples by providing chunks of lg

Meaningful LG: CH focused what L2 can be used for right here and now, lg has to got context=stories, familiar situations. Context reduced lg is abstract.
