Mozemy zauwazyc wzrost pingu wraz z odlegloscia miejsca do ktorego wysylamy ping. Np. South America  min 300ms max 301ms,a Australia mim 334, max 334ms.

What is interesting about the pings that were sent to the European website?

Gdy wysylamy ping do Europy to otrzymujemy wiadomosc o przekroczonym czasie żądania. Mozemy zauwazyc, ze wysylany ping do nas nie wraca, otrzymujemy 100% straty.

What happens at hop 7? Is level3.net the same ISP as hops 2-6, or a different ISP? Use the whois tool to
answer this question.

Sa to inne ISP, zostaja one zmienione ISP. Przesyl odbywa sie w innych stanach.

What happens in hop 10 to the amount of time it takes for a packet to travel between Washington D.C.
and Paris, as compared with the earlier hops 1-9?

Zostaje zwiększony czas odpowiedzi. Czas odpowiedzi w hops 1-9 jest krótszy, poniewaz jest na terytorium tego samego kontynentu. Natomiast powyżej hopsa 10 nastepuje przysyl na inny kontynent( z Washington do Paryza).

Did all the traceroute utilities use the same paths to www.cisco.com? Why or Why not?

Sciezki roznia sie od siebie. Jest to spowodowane tym, ze informacja zostala przesylana za kazdym razem inna sciezka. Jest to spowodowane dynamicznym przydzielaniem sciezek. Sa one dobierane tak aby przesyl danych byl najszybszy.

Having now viewed traceroute through three different tools (tracert, web interface, and VisualRoute), are
there any insights that using VisualRoute provided that the other two tools did not?

VisualRoute pokazuje jak przebiega sciezka na mapie. Jest bardziej rozbudowany graficznie i ma wiecej opcji(np zapis do jpg) niz pozostale dwie metody.
