THE CHEST (THORAX).

The thorax, which contains the hcart and lungs, is the portion of the body necding the most aUcntion. One can-not give too much tirne to it.

By dereloping the thorax the arrns will be strengthened.

I'he best results are to be obtained by:

1.    Assuming and holding the correct sitting and stand-ing position.

2.    Removing the causes of a defective chest.

3.    Ayoiding exercises or positions that will crantp the thorax.

4.    Strengthening the muscies of the neck and spine.

5.    F,levating the shoulders.

6.    Regular and continued breathing exercises.

7.    Active leg work. Running. Bicycling.
