The differences of command line and GUIs			Prior Learning & Context for Lesson Two lessons about hardware, explaining every important component.	Future Learning - what this lesson leads towards? The next lesson will be dedicated to the operation system and software.

Starter 12.00 - 12.10	Objectives for today. PowerPoint presentation. Short reminder about rules at the class room. Checking if all of the students finished their catalogue, if no then inform them that it's P2 now.				Informing students about my rules at the class room. Ensure all students understand these rules and the importance.			Responses to questions.

Low ability students and those with behaviour problems will be asked to sit at the front. (Hamza, Mudassar, Uzair, Kyle, Bismah). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q&A SEN students will be asked the easiest questions: Operating systems for mobile devices What is an operating system? Types of operating systems and Uzair, Sania, Henna and Bismah will be given difficult questions. Assessment 12.22 - 12.32 12.32 - 12.57	Written assessment Pupils will be given a test with 5 questions on it. Name the three main operating systems. What is the purpose of an operating system? Name the three main mobile operating systems. What is a GUI? What is Command Line? Which mobile operating system do you use on your phone or Ipod? Student Task 1 Students will be asked to open their Hardware catalogue, add additional pages to it and write down what they have learnt on today'. Page 1. What an Operating system is and its purpose. Page 2. Types of the operating systems (including mobile operating systems) Page 3. What is a ? Why do we now use these? Page 4. What is Command Line? Why do we not still use these?				Some support will be given to SEN students: Hamza and Mudassar. Wider explanation of the questions will be given to them. Some support will be given to SEN students: Hamza and Mudassar. Students may struggle to duplicate their catalogue pages to include content, those who struggle will be asked to join me and observe my demonstration.			Answering test questions. Test will be marked down and feedback will be given on the next lesson.
